VRSP Membership Requirements for submission
- Letter of Application addressed to the VRSP President
- Certificate of completion of residency in Ophthalmology
- Certificate of completion of fellowship in Vitreo-Retina
- Letter of Recommendation from the fellowship program director ( for foreign fellowship graduates)
- Philippine Board of Ophthalmology Certificate
- Certificate of Good Standing from the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology
- Letter of Recommendation from two (2) VRSP members in good standing
- Curriculum Vitae
- Vitreo-Retina Research manuscript (subject to further evaluation and for which the applicant must have significant contribution)
- Acceptable Researches
- Descriptive studies with statistical analysis (e.g. observational analytical studies) except case reports and case series
- Retrospective studies with statistical analysis except case reports and case series
- Prospective studies ( e.g. case control studies, cohort studies, randomized controlled trials)
- Systematic review and meta-analysis
- Acceptable Researches
Membership in the Society shall be limited to a licensed physician who fulfills the following:
- Committed to the practice, research and teaching of the principles of vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery
- Has good moral character, reputation, ethical and professional standing
- A diplomate of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology
- A member in good standing of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology
- Who meet such other qualifications as described in Section 6 of the Bylaws of the Society
